I was tasked with building out custom modules for the eCommerce module for the Ministry Safe Ruby on Rails web application. This project was a legacy project and had a number of challenges that required custom development work. Working with a team of developers, we implemented a full billing journal and performed a wide range of work related to the billing connector. This work focused on fixing connections between the application and Authorize.net, implementing improved error reporting, and extending the functionality of the error dashboard. The project followed Ruby on Rails development best practices, including building out a full suite of Rspec tests.
